The freedom of homeschooling. The support of a school community. The power to personalize your child’s learning journey.
Personalized Education Plan-Hybrid (PEP)
Florida’s Personalized Education Program (PEP) empowers families to customize their child’s learning experience. Signed into law through House Bill 1, this program allows parents to access an Education Savings Account (ESA) that funds a personalized, flexible education path. This hybrid approach gives families flexibility while ensuring structure, accountability, and meaningful connection to teachers and peers.
Learn at Your Own Pace — with the Support of a School Community
At Urgent Academy, an FLDOE-approved PEP Hybrid School, students experience the best of both worlds: In-person classes 2–3 days a week with qualified instructors and if needed, Home-based learning supported by our digital Learning Management System (LMS) and teacher guidance.
